I've been commissioned by the Royal Ballet & Opera, Reuters Events, London Philharmonic Orchestra, The English Concert, Aurora Orchestra, il Pomo d'Oro, London Sinfonietta, the Association of British Orchestras, Welsh National Opera, Garsington Opera, English Touring Opera, Nevill Holt Festival, Dorset Opera Festival, Waterperry Opera Festival, National Opera Studio, British Youth Opera, Oxford International Song Festival, Orpheus Sinfonia, St Paul's Opera, Trinity Laban, Blackheath Halls & Vache Baroque. As resident photographer at many of the summer festivals, I photograph rehearsals, productions, concerts & events, young artists & community/education projects.
My images have been published in Opera (front cover, Aug 2025), Classical Music Magazine, Opernwelt, Opera Today, Opera Now, The New York Times, The FT, The Guardian, Country Life, Bachtrack, inews, The Times, The Scotsman, The Spectator & The Stage.
I shoot on silent Nikon cameras, am on the Enhanced DBS Update Service, am a member of the Association of British Orchestras and have my own transport.
I was a chorister at Liverpool Cathedral, was a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, then trained as a baritone at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I sang professionally for many years in opera, symphony choruses and small ensembles. I love being part of the creative process, producing striking images for companies and artists.
